About this tool
UMS (Uniform Mark Scale) was used in the legacy modular A-Level Maths qualifications (pre-2017 reform). Raw marks varied per paper, but UMS normalised them so an A always required 80/100 UMS across modules. This converter uses each module's published boundary anchors and interpolates between them.
